Prostitution And Poverty:
“Prostitution” is one of the most important factors in evaluating the social-economical and moral conditions in every society and is rising up in Iran. Women are not immune from the political-social tensions which are a result of religious governing in this country and their painful, restricted life varies toward being worse and worse day by day. They are known as the first and last guilty because of their generation. Because of the traditional culture and male chauvinisms idea in the society, the women’s problems are not dealt as much as other problems.
As a logical and true solution in dealing with prostitution, everyone should change his/her views regarding to this issue. Prostitutes are not lost people and can change and vary their life styles, because they are human.
Surly hating and disliking, lashing, killing and hanging and excommunicating from family and society are not solution to this problem, where as they are the victims of violence, lawlessness, cultural, sexual and economical inequality in sick and infectious society.
The roots of such problems in every society should be discovered and analyzed in a scientific manner and find solutions to prevent this problem and reeducate them to begin a normal life.
Poverty Definition:
Poverty is the lack of necessities which are required to continue living. These requirements could be indexed in this way: Eating, healthy water, shelter (home) and health. This definition of poverty is absolute definition and is accepted just in third world countries.
Relative poverty is to compare person’s poverty situation with other people around him/his.
Poverty is not a separate issue from society. It is a complicated issue and knowing and understanding this issue is a fundamental principle for developing a society. To have a complete and general definition of poverty and its effects on society, we should have a complete and detailed list of variables that affect each other in the society.

Iranians have the same problem and most of them live in very bad living conditions. The head manager of “Poverty Reduction” in Welfare Organization in Khatami’s presidency duration said:
